HL&B is excited to to announce three employee promotions. Kevin Hubbard, David Borda, and Michael Killian have been selected to help grow and represent HL&B. For details on the promotions see the listings below:
Kevin Hubbard, CPA
Partner-in-Charge of Tax Services
Kevin has been named Partner-in-Charge of Tax Services to guide the operational activities of HL&B’s Tax Department. He has more than 20 years of public accounting experience servicing both public and privately held middle market companies. Kevin has extensive knowledge of upstream energy, oilfield service and equipment, as well as manufacturing and distribution and private equity sponsored businesses.
David Borda, CPA
Partner-in-Charge of Assurance Services
David has been named Partner-in-Charge of Assurance Services for HL&B to guide the operational activities of the Assurance Dept. that are in line with the Firm’s strategy and goals. Since 2004, David has participated in the Firm’s growth, developing long-term working relationships with clients. His experience includes servicing both privately and publicly held commercial entities operating in a diverse group of industries, such as manufacturing, distribution, financial services & construction.
Michael Killian, CPA
Director of Technical Accounting
Michael has been named Director of Technical Accounting for HL&B. Michael has more than 13 years experience in public accounting performing audits, reviews, compilations, and tax work in a wide diversity of industries including financial institutions, construction contractors, insurance entities, and employee benefit plans. He has worked with small to middle market private and public companies, including assistance with SEC filings.
