Prior to joining Ham, Langston & Brezina, LLP, Francisco was a Tax Managing Director with BDO USA PC in the Corporate Tax Services group. Francisco has more than 20 years of business experience including 15 years in public accounting. He has assisted clients with cross-border transaction issues, including tax planning and compliance in the federal and multi-state tax areas for businesses and their owners. He has extensive experience assisting multinational corporations, leveraging his fluency in Spanish and bicultural competence. Francisco has experience preparing and reviewing tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.

As a business advisor, Francisco has performed financial analyses and identified areas of opportunity to improve efficiency for his clients in multiple industries, including manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, retail, software development, telecommunications, and service.

In addition to his tax and accounting experience, Francisco has a background in marketing, including product launches in the Peruvian market. He has led marketing efforts for well-known consumer goods brands such as Lifesavers^®, Doritos^®, Cheetos^® and Lays^® in Venezuela and Perú. Additionally, he helped standardize and improve internal controls for a hotel chain in Perú.
