Michelle A. Friedman, CPA

Michelle has more than 25 years’ experience in all facets of accounting and taxation. Early in her career, Michelle became Controller of a $65 million real estate development corporation. Subsequently, she decided to change her career trajectory to taxation and joined the tax staff of a global player in public accounting. Given this background, she uniquely combines her corporate managerial and executive experience with her accounting and tax expertise to serve closely held businesses, individuals, and their families.

Michelle chaired the “Small Business Committee” of the Houston Chapter – Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants for two consecutive years and served on the Accounting and Audit Curriculum Committee of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, for several years, she served on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of Temple Sinai in Houston, Texas.

Michelle is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and both the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and its Houston Chapter.

Michelle received her BA from the University of Chicago and attended the University of Texas at Austin School of Business – MBA program, as well as the University of Houston.
