Trino was a Tax Partner with PwC in the Private Company Services group prior to joining Ham, Langston & Brezina, LLP, in May 2017. Trino has extensive experience in tax consulting and compliance for corporations and partnerships having multistate and international operations in various industries, including manufacturing and distribution, upstream and midstream oil and gas, oilfield service, and alternative energy.

Trino has delivered value to middle market companies, domestic subsidiaries of foreign enterprises, private equity portfolio entities and closely-held businesses, and their owners through proactive tax planning, listening to their concerns and delivering innovative solutions. He has significant experience serving multinational companies, utilizing his fluency in Spanish and bicultural competence. He also has extensive experience with ASC 740 tax provision services for private and publicly traded companies.

After graduating from the University of St. Thomas in May 1994, Trino began his career at BDO USA, LLP, where he served as the Office Managing Partner for Tax from July 2008 to January 2013. Trino also served as BDO’s Regional Country Coordinator Partner for Latin America and Mexico, assisting U.S. clients with operations in Mexico and Latin America.

Trino enjoys singing and has written more than 30 songs. He also enjoys playing soccer, hiking, and traveling with his family.
